As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
The arguement kicking around about how Arsenal are damaging English football but surely Man Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool spending millions of pounds on players from abroad (ie amount of money going out of the english game) is just as bad?...
F**k me over £35m on two young foreigners (anderson & Nani) tell me how thats not damaging?...
While we are on the subject of Manure i just want to say what a horrible c*nt that anderson is!!!! Trying to get people booked by waving imaginary cards (which i thought was a booking offence itself) diving and rolling around and kicking like a donkey too. Didnt know much about him before Saturdays game f*cking hate him now. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

You're a man of culture, rebel. And you're also the first Irishman I've seen/heard use "craic" for a long time - it's usually those plastic micks that do that! (No offence intended ... honest!)
I can see the point of the Manc who has written that argument, but what he fails to grasp is that our team are considered 'kids' because of the squad; not just the first team. First of all, our first team has the youngest average age (I think) of anyone in the league, but then secondly, if one of our first teamers gets injured, we have a (more often than not) very young and very talented player to come in and take his place; something that no one else in the league can boast. Yes, United have youngsters, but our 'kids' are good enough to walk in to most Premier League teams. Our future is looking brighter than anyone else's in that we have players who are very young and have the talent and the mentality to walk straight in to the first team with very little transition.
