CHELSEA AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He's not an out-and-out striker in the mould of Torres/Villa/Drogba/Adebayor is he?
I don't agree with this. he was the key to our 4-3-3 formation before he got injured, became very good at playing people in. sure it was hard for him for the first 6 games or so (where he also failed to score) but after that he was fantastic.
So you'd class V.Persie in the same mould as an out-and-out striker?

This second half performance has probably persuaded Wenger not to buy in the summer.

I don't give two shites about what you think either little boy. I've followed football for 23 years, you only got into it when you first saw Arsenal on the tv and probably liked their kit. I bet you've never even been to an Arsenal game whereas I've seen them play 14 times over the years, home & away.

Support your local team for fuck sake.

All tip-tap-flick and no end product. Cech has hardly had a save to make. We've got the cutting edge of a knob of butter. Chelsea by contrast.......
