Nasri had another stinker away from home. He's another who is beginning to wind me up no end. Sums our squad up, small, French, technically good, physically and mentally not quite up to it. Keep him by all means but he's not enough for the starting eleven if you want to get somewhere.

Right, um, er. Never before as an Arsenal fan- or not for a very long time- have I ever been so convinced that we would lose two games in a row. That we got thrashed and let's face it, we were today, only added to our belief that Arsenal Football Club in its current state is NOT a club capable of challenging for the title.

Wholesale changes are needed from top to bottom and a review of the manager's roles and responsibilities is overdue. At the moment, one has to question why Wenger is allowing his teams to go out seemingly underprepared and tactically unaware of the opposition. How many times have we played Drogba? How mny times has Wenger managed against him? Why can't we defend against him or even come up with a way of nullifying his threat?

We have made no progress in the last 12 months and probably not in the last four years. If a company was run this ineffectively or naively, then the manager in charge would be on his way out or at the very least put on some kind of ultimatum. At Arsenal, though, we just wander on from mediocrity to mediocrity. :banghead:

Boy, am I glad I spent £53 on a ticket for Wednesday night.

For the first time in my life, I'm actually considering simply not turning up. Yes, it'll be a waste of £53, but it'll save the train fare and beverage costs.

Fuck Arsene Wenger.
the teams not gonna. why should you?

The tactics of our manager are non-existent. I said that if Diaby and Song were asked to sit in front of the defence today we would have a chance. But we were exposed for the 2nd goal because the whole midfield all poured forward.

The first goal was ridiculous, because for the first time that I can ever remember we did not have a defender on the far post for all of Chelsea's corners.

Where is the tactical astuteness. Other than that the team just look nervous. Nasri's chance in the 2nd half sums this up. We played well but there is no cutting edge.

Wenger needed to buy a striker, and he didn't. I think we need a new manager who will definately add some tactical nous, and buy the players that will enable these tactics to prevail.

Champions League, Emirates Cup and Fourth Place.

I think there's a trophy for all of them.
To win the European Cup we'll have to beat at least 1 of Barcelona / Chelsea / Man Utd - it will be almost impossible to avoid them all.

Does anyone really think we can beat them, with our current squad, over 2 legs??
With our defensive naivety, any one of them would rip us to pieces.

Can't we do what Liverpool did? All we need to do is to draw all the remaining CL games, and see what happens in the shoot-out at the end of it all.

I can't argue with that.

I was more sure that we could win the league before January as Wenger seemed to suggest that we were in the market to buy a striker, who I hoped was a striker that would not be eligible for the CL - someone like Dzeko or Huntelaar. I never gave the CL any credence as this is the same side that was humiliated against manure over 2 legs.

Pretty tempted to fire over some "thoughts & suggestions" to Gazidis. I'm so pissed off with the way our club has regressed over the last 5 years. Herbert Chapman must be turning in his grave.
