Well strictly speaking we can still win the EPL and UCL. I wont rule them out until its impossible. But Cesc is such an important part of the current team that the day he goes (without winning anything) is the day I think it has failed.

Yes, let's worry about Cesc not winning any trophies as opposed to Arsenal FC.
...life will go on, and so will the Arsenal. we all know he will eventually go back to Spain, so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.
as for me, i would hope that he leaves after many, many successful years in North London. but somehow, i get the feeling that things might not get better for quite some time... at least not under Le Boss' current system.
however, i'll be a little more concerned when Barca finally needs to replace Xavi.

Exactly, I feel certain they will go after Cesc then. But any talk of his departure is paper rumours, yes he will go eventually but he has never indicated that he wants out at the end of the year so we don't need ot get too paranoid..yet!
If he stays, then it would be because we'll get some REAL quality into our side. Cesc will not sit back, and watch his best years in football past him without any reward in club success.
I tend to think we're gonna sign 2-3 quality players this summer. A goalkeeper for sure, a big central striker (Mario Gomez type), and a central defender/defensive midfielder type of player (Song type).
In addition, I reckon we're gonna go back to the 4-4-2 formation, because the current formation is far too breachable. This should setisfy Cesc, and I think it's not too much to ask for.
If he goes, we can say goodbye to any hope we've had to win anything in the next 2-3 seasons.
Don't forget. The WC is this summer and that means he will spend loads of time with Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol, etc. I can't imagine the pressure they would put on him. Not to mention the press..
But to be perfectly honest, Have you seen those Catalan *word censored* play? Cesc would be perfect for them. If he moves there, he would turn to be the best player in the world (I will kill him if he moves, though).
