its my birthday and 1-0 to the arsenal is the best present I could ask for.

Played boys, now lets win the rest of the games we have and see where it takes us.

Stone the Crows !!!!!!

Not only did we win but the other results went our way !!!!!!!!

Was at a Funeral today and got very maudlin at the wake..................so did not see the game...............perhaps that is the answer............ :? :? :?

Crucial result was Spuds. Like it or not they and Citteh are serious contenders for that top 4 spot.

That keeps them at bay. Citteh will still need one more season and the Scoucers are back behind us.

MASSIVE RESULT !

Just hope we can build on it. !!!!!

just read posts after getting back from pub. cracking result and much needed after recent games, but did i seriously read that it was world class save from almunia? yes, was well hit but was nearly straight above him and he still nearly fucked it up. and i nearly cried when walcott passed to reina rather then dribble to corner in 92nd min!

but, who cares now, we still won and everything else went our way, happy happy days!! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

A game built on a decent defensive performance from the keeper, the back 4 and the two dm's. Ok, Almunia had to make a very good save from Babel, ok Cesc handled a dubious freekick but two were long shots. We only looked in dire danger once and Gallas came to the rescue, we were a lot more organized aside from that

Going forward, we were poor for the most part. Too many players had an off day, Cesc, Arshavin, Walcott, Rosicky (wonderful cross aside), Diaby and Bendtner erratic. Lovely goal on the other hand, sometimes all that is required is for two players to combine like that if your defense is doing it's job

Best team won tonight, no doubt about it. Lovely goal, cracking finish from Diaby who I thought was excellent.

Credit for the goal. Other than that, the usual Diaby mix of nice touch and almost sleepwalking football.

excellent? Low standards.

Suprised no one has mentioned Gerrards diving yet. It amazes me how he gets away with it.
