As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Reading Cesc's notes I thought I would extract the following:
"It's Liverpool tonight, and I always ask for our fans' to support, but this time I'm not going to do that. I think that the fans have been fantastic all season long and it's the players who have put ourselves in this position. Now it's up to us to bring things forward and to make things right. The players definitely owe the fans a lot. We owe them a huge amount - I believe that 100 per cent"
Certainly put a smile on my face (along with the 3 points, Chavski losing, Manure drawing and Spuds losing)
Fair play to the lad, he says the right things at the right times, unlike Paddy when he constantly refused to deny the links to other clubs etc.
Cesc will be a huge loss to Arsenal when he goes. If we get 40m for him we'd better re-invest the lot, there'll be a riot if we sell him for 40m and spend 7 or 8m on a replacement! (or nothing...just move Ramsey up)!?
Well he probably doesn't sit there on a type-writer/computer tapping out the letters, but I assume he dictates his thoughts to a secretary/the journalist from the programme.

Aha. So that's why the ground was so quiet in the first half. The fans were only following Cesc's instructions!!
In all seriousness, those are fantastic sentiments and wise words from our Captain. This lad is showing that he does understand what the fans are feeling and is displaying great maturity and unexpected leadership skills.
They have denied it, I have denied it. I just want to focus on Arsenal," Fabregas told Sky Sports.
"I think Arsenal Football Club is above everything, every single player in its history and their fans, and the club, and myself - I think we deserve a little bit more respect."
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger also quashed talk that the Spain international was on his way to Camp Nou.

I think the L'pool supports for some odd reason decided to follow that advice too, probably coz they're all from London anyway.
