Chamakh nickname

Post by 1989 »

What are you's gonna call him? I heard his nickname in France was 'Shassy' which sounds a bit gay. What about Maroo???

More like a poor man's Torres

But if anything I reckon Vermaelen has taught us not to judge these things too soon

I shall be calling him MC

He's not shite. He's playing for Bordeaux right now and had scored a goal for them. 2-1 at the moment vs Saint Etienne.

I know we're all joking about the guy and that everyone wants him to be a massive success and be the guy that reignites Arsenal, but I think for a lot of us, it's another example of a buy that doesn't seem to be the one that captures our attention. I feel a lot of us want the 'finished product', the superstar that can get us excited and feel optimistic about the next year or so. Rightly or wrongly, Chamakh doesn't seem like that player, not that different from other Wenger buys over the last few years.

as long as the bloke, shows he is willing to fight for the cause and work hard for the team and not just sulk around the pitch for 90 mins

I will shout his name loud and proud

Exactly.

The guy is available on a free, and he's free to talk to anyone.... if he's that good, don't be surprised if Real Madrid, Chelsea or Citeh come in with a £150k a week offer that we cannot match.
