my 1st game at emirates, and what a bore. the only time i got to see Henry play and he was poor but oh well, at least i got to see the great man once :barscarf:

the worst game has to be against villa last season (0-2) what a load of crap that was, didnt even have a shot i think. the week before i was at the man utd 2-1 nasri win, so expected a lot

0-0 vs. Derby at THOF around 2000ish would be up there. Blagged myself some work experience on MOTD, had a press pass to watch the game from the commentary gantry until just before kick-off got told it was the wrong type of pass & ended up having to watch the game on the monitors in the BBC truck in the car park behind the C.E.!

Freezing cold day, pissing with rain, pretty sure we’d just been spanked in the CL a few days earlier by one of the Russian/Ukranian teams so was expecting a positive reaction but instead got a complete non-performance. Even with DB10 & Henry in the team we couldn’t break down a shite Derby team battling relegation. Lost the next 2 or 3 in a row as well I think. Great day overall but the match itself took the concept of shite to a whole new level. I'm sure we've all seen worse games but compared to the rest of the day it was just a massive let down. :(

Ive seen loads of terrible games during my time. The Sheffield Wednesday game that has already been mentioned is one think there was a 0-0 with Leeds around the same time that had me dropping off to sleep during but the one that sticks in my mind was a defeat during Rioch' reign away to Sheffield United in the FA Cup. We were shockingly awful and they deservedly beat us 1 or 2-0. I took a day off work, took fucking hours to get there, watched a load of shit and took ages to get home thats one that sticks in my mind :x

Luckily ive seen many more good ones that outweigh the bad overall

there was a 0-0 v Citeh under Graham that was something like our 6th in a row
(must be an exageration but it felt like that)

losing to Galatasaray in the UEFA cup final
I was wathing on tv in Glesga and had a whole student loan on us winning the UEFA cup - really believed that team would tear them to bits
and we were just soo flat

watching us get battered by sperz in the league cup final in Buglaria
all the buglarians wr supporting them because of Berbaflop

watching us lose 1-0 to blackburn in Vietnam in some random old geezers apartment

somehow I find it more miserable watching us lose on TV than live

6-1 loss to Utd 2001
2-1 loss away to Stoke, Toure was fucking awful, the rest of the team weren't much better, to top it all Rp gets sent off for a nothing challenge...made a very long depressing journey home.

it should been AFC-leeds utd during 1965/1966 season
lowest attendance at Highbury all-time
only 4554
AFC finished 14th in The League
hardly there were platinum members at that time or season ticket holder waiting list

That West ham game when Eduardo scored within the first 5 mins.
:tumbleweed: :tumbleweed: :tumbleweed:

The final group game against Porto two seasons ago :sleep_keyboard:
It was 0-0 last season, tinpot. Very dull game and cost Cat A prices. At least the pompey game was 3 points, cheaper and included the standing ovation of Mr Arsenal.

Yep last season weren't much better. I'm talking about the game we won 2-0 though, virtually over by half hour.

worst game

Post by Nos89 »

vs Aston Villa home, January'92, 0-0, only 3 shots on goal during the entire 90 mins. It was wet, freezing and only time I've been to a match and thought WTF am I doing here.

Arsenal 2 Charlton 4 2001 - Dominated the game, went one up and ended up 4-1 down before the 60th min mark.

THE worst performance by an Arsenal side I have ever seen. Not helped by the night before I saw 3 of our starting 11 that day in a club at 2 in the morning.
Who were the three, Riggsy?
I was absolutely gutted over our performance that day.
The first Cup Final I saw Arsenal in.

Losing against Walsall at Highbury in the early 80's, the only good thing was the protest after the game that finally forced the club to give Neill the tin tack a few weeks after.
