WHATS THE BEST EVER PERFORMANCE FROM AN ARSENAL TEAM

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

five one in the san siro, going a goal down really tested us especially as we had been raped in the home leg, Henry's greatest performance in a big game as he often went AWOL in the pressure ones

Here is 3 that I think are certainly up there....I'd say Anfield '89 is probably the best.

To come back and beat Anderlect to win the European Fairs Cup was another great performance.

And what about the injury ravaged team and without Wrighty beat Parma 1-0 to The ARSENAL :barscarf:
I agree with these.
We lost 1-3 away at Anderlecht in the first leg and then beat 'em 3-nil at Highbury. Amazing!
Nobody gave us a chance against Parma without Wrighty and Smithy scored in off the post.
But no other English club has anything to compare with Anfield '89.

I didn't go to the game, but remember beating Leeds at Elland Road 4-1 back in 2003.

The football we played was sincillating, edge of the seat stuff! I couldn't beleive what I was seeing - amazing performance!

amazing my fav four matches were all against Man Yooooooooo

3-2 1979 FA Cup final - my first ever match as a gooner fan

also winning at OT on two seperate occasions when Overmars scored in the first game, and the 2nd match when Wiltord scored and Kanu jumped over Wiltords head

also sadly the 2-1 defeat to Man Yoo when giggs scored that goal, and Bergkamp sadly missed the pen in stoppage time still I can't believed we didn't win that semi

also 1989 of course away at Anfield and Kanu's hatrick at the bridge to win 3-2 in the driving rain

7-0 vs Everton, last home game at Highbury in red/white. Everton finished 4th, can't recall the last time a top four team beat another one 7-0. Should've been 10 and DB10 was awesome.
