AWAY TO PORTO THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The good thing for Arsenal is the fact that you can keep the ball off them for prolonged periods, which could put pressure on them on the occasions they get attacks building, its not easy to attack when you know that if you lose the ball you could struggle to get it back.

Just keep it compact away from home and I think you'll get through

Good luck lads
.... We're fucked :(

Gonna be a close one with all our injuries. I'd love 1-1.

---------Mannone--------
Sagna--TV--Sol---Clichy
----Diaby----Denilson---
--------Fabregas---------
Walcott-----------Rosicky
--------Bendtner---------

I hope Fab is gonna get a run in the team now. We won't truly know how good / poor he is until we see him play week in - week out and have been given the same faith by Wenger Almunia has. I definitely think we have more to win than to lose by playing him!

With Gallas out I can't see us keeping a clean sheet and also I can't see us scoring with Bendtner up front on his own so i'd be happy with a score draw.

Porto unbeaten in 12. Hulk, falcao etc etc they have got the people to win this. We have no gallas song arsh persie eduardo LOL thats like our entire strike force...+real defensive cover/

I reckon wenger will go with -

Fabiansky
Clichy
sagna
sol
verm
fab
rosciky
diaby
nasri
denison
bentner

walcott sub + vela sub....I reckon we will get beaten if bendtner does not score and will win if he does.

Going to be a tough night with no Song involved, any sort of score draw, or even a 1-2 defeat would be ok.....but as always, if we play well we can beat anyone :barscarf:

I could never see us keeping a clean sheet with him in! Not a comment of Billy G's abilities, just that defensively we're shite.
