AWAY TO PORTO THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I seriously shudder at the thought of Denilson in centre midfield now  It really shouldn't be like that

I think we'll see:

---------------Fab-----------

Sagna-----Sol----TV---------Clichy

----Fabregas---Denilson-----Diaby--

----TR7-------Nic B----------Nasri

Playing more 4-5-1 then 4-3-3

Bench: Mannone, Eboue, Ramsey, Walcott, Silvestre

not a lot of striking options

I would like to see Eboue on the right, Rosicky on the left of Bendtner. Otherwise the same as above.

I want to see Ramsey start. Of course he won't !

Can we keep it tight and nick a goal ? 0 - 1 to us would be a GREAT result.

I have a bad feeling about tonight.

And I'm normally an optimist. :(

got a good chance with that side- nasri and especially rosicky always impress me and they could cause them problems all night. I'm not much of a fan of bendtner, but if it is to be pretty much a 4-5-1, then at least he has a bit of presence. I'll predict a 2-1 to the arsenal

i'll take a goal to be honest, i know we got past madrid and juve with a scratch defense in 2006 but we still had a solid keeper at the time.

nasri doesnt travel well mr mackem :(

1-0 arse is optimistic for me right now

Given the upside-down-back-to-front-twilight-zone state of affairs you've outlined above Marc, I'm gonna say... maybe he's busy brushing his hair?

Where will the goals come from? Rosicky is not a scorer, Bendtner is Bendtner and Nasri is an away game bottler. The only hope we have is Cesc and if he's having an off day we're in big trouble.

Oh well, least Sol could help us keep a clean sheet here.

Bendtner will score one and Vermaelen will score the other
