Didn't Wenger say Eduardo had a 'tiny, tiny' problem about a month ago?Dan_85 wrote:Almunia & Song back. Diaby out. Gallas, Arshavin & Eduardo still out.

And i've a feeling we won't see Gallas for a while as he takes his usual spring break.
I can't decide if i am happy for us to win these games now or just get over the inevitable misery now...

Oh well, just got one day at work to get through and then its off to the match.
So, the plan:
Finish work at 4 (since its a Friday!)
Get round to my mates in Glasgow for about 6
Go to sleep as soon as possible
Get up 5am for taxi to prestwick
6:30 flight
Arrive just after 8 into stansted
Try and get into central london (spend a small fortune doing so due to the price of the train!)
Get an all day tube ticket
Hope to make my way to Leyton for the AFC v SAFC fans game and hopefully meet some of the online gooners
Pre match drinks in an arsenal pub
My SAFC supporting mates (the lucky ones with sunderland end tickets) arrive 12:05 so possibly join them in an away friendly pub
Sit in the arsenal end at the emirates and try to avoid detection
Post match drinks
Erm, more post match drinks until
5am get across to gatwick
7:30 flight
Get into glasgow about 9am
Home for about noon
Sleep
Can't wait, its going to be class
As with when Arsenal came to the SoL, i will write a report from a Sunderland point of view win, lose or draw but if we have been hammered, dont think im hiding, it's just that im likely to fall asleep as soon as i get back so probably wont get back on here until sunday evening!

Hearing most of the travelling Gooners on here you'll do well getting out of Stansted!safcftm wrote:Oh well, just got one day at work to get through and then its off to the match.

Alright! Don't take the piss out our team.safcftm wrote:Looking forward to this one. I must admit, I am expecting a heavy defeat as we have about 2 midfielders fit (Reid, Henderson, Cattermole, Malbranque, Meyler all out, leaving us with a not match fit richardson and lorik cana- we were short in midfield before injuries/ suspensions took their toll) and, well, because we have been utter shit ever since we played your lot at the SoL.
If Fabianski plays, however, you just never know, there could be a goal in there for us.
Just looking forward to the day out, and the all night drinking session tbh, the match will probably be an inconvenience more than anything
Edit: Zenden should be fit as well, but he's shit so i dont know if i should count him

May I suggest you take National Express A9 coach from Stanstead to Stratford station. It takes only 45 minutes and costs only £8 (they run every 1//2 an hour). Also Stratford is very close to Leyton. You could be there as early as 10am.safcftm wrote:Oh well, just got one day at work to get through and then its off to the match.
