Piss right off!!! He's a totteringham player and should not be seen as anything else. A good player he may be but as long as he wears the lilyshite kit he is not worthy.

I would love to see him come to Arsenal. He is just the sort of player we need to get the goals flowing.

tenement, did you say the same thing when we signed Sol? Bet you changed your mind about him pretty quick once he was wearing the red

He has had a good couple of months but he is not as good as the press are making him out to be. Why didnt a BIG club sign him in the summer?Martens has scored as many goals has him at Newcastle

As long as he's a spud I don't want him. If he does wear the red and white then i would definatly change my mind about him. But he's not

No way dude. Berbetov is a class player but he could be frustrating as hell as well. He goes through this lean patches a lot of times and he cant be seen as a prolific goal scoring striker which is what we need at the moment more than anything else.

Henry (10 goals) and RVP (11 goals) have both scored more league goals than Berbatov (8 goals) and Henry hasnt been fit all season and RVP has missed the last two months. Benni Mc Carthy has scored 4 more goals than him but doesnt get half the attention Berbatov gets.Andy Townsend said he is one of europes top strikers dont make me laugh.Oh i forgot he scored two goals against the mighty Braga he must be world class then!!!!

If Wenger is going to buy top, top class then it wont be Berbatov or Martins. Eto'o is world class and would be the sort of player needed.

Is that what you thought of Sol Campbell :?: Bit different though seeing as it was close season after he had actually left the lane.

Deffo would have him. Hes clever can hold the ball up, lays it off and isnt afraid to run into the box take note Hleb,Baptista, aliadiere, etc.
Also he reminds me a bit of Alan Smith, the sort of clever striker target -man we have missed for seasons.

Although I prefer Martins to Berbatov, I would prefer Eto'o over both of them. Lets face it- Martins and Berbatov can't be that good can they? They both play for bottom to mid table teams don't they.

he may ahve scored 8 league goals this season, but hes palying for a shit side!! put him in our team and he would be a good signing - i remember henry used to go through lean spells when he first joined us. I think berbatov is a quality player - if you dont rate him solely for playing for the spudz, personally i think you're a little fickle. having said that, id prefer to see that huntelaar playing for us next season, or maybe that ryan babel - prob cost half as much

Berbatov

Post by Arsenal 4 LIFE »

Good player and would love to see him at arsenal but I think the fee the scum that is spurs would be to much 4 a player that has had 1 good season. The question is if he can repeat it in the second, and this whole thing of if he is a spurs player he should not be considered is nonsense if a player is good enough why not. I would love to have Lennon in the team; he gives a team width and pace that is needed. I would not mind giving them 20 million or more for him as for Berbatov if he can produce again why not.

He scored quality goals against West Ham and Chelski...but isn't that our problem? I've had enough of the 'perfect goal' for now. Any goal would do!
