SUNDERLAND HOME - MATCH THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So, the plan:

Finish work at 4 (since its a Friday!)
Get round to my mates in Glasgow for about 6
Go to sleep as soon as possible
Get up 5am for taxi to prestwick
6:30 flight
Arrive just after 8 into stansted
Try and get into central london (spend a small fortune doing so due to the price of the train!)
Get an all day tube ticket
Hope to make my way to Leyton for the AFC v SAFC fans game and hopefully meet some of the online gooners
Pre match drinks in an arsenal pub
My SAFC supporting mates (the lucky ones with sunderland end tickets) arrive 12:05 so possibly join them in an away friendly pub
Sit in the arsenal end at the emirates and try to avoid detection
Post match drinks
Erm, more post match drinks until
5am get across to gatwick
7:30 flight
Get into glasgow about 9am
Home for about noon
Sleep

Can't wait, its going to be class

As with when Arsenal came to the SoL, i will write a report from a Sunderland point of view win, lose or draw but if we have been hammered, dont think im hiding, it's just that im likely to fall asleep as soon as i get back so probably wont get back on here until sunday evening!
Quality.

For me it's;

Off work with broken wrist.
7pm Meet lads from work in Dublin city centre for mate's stag.
Get pissed.
Leer at strippers.
3am schlapp a kebab into me.
3.30am Taxi home.
4am Try to sober up.
5.30am Dublin Airport.
6.25am Fly to Standstill Airport.
Couple "steadiers" on plane.
7.40am Land. BIG Coffee. Lift with Spuddy.
10.30am fans match.
12pm pub.
3pm The Arse.
4.45pm more beer.
8.05pm flight home.
10pm local boozer.

CANNOT WAIT!! :barscarf: 8)
Sounds like you're going to be in tip-top condition for this fans match

How's your mental strength?

Interesting to see the real interest in this game is around the beers and the fans game. :D I am struggling to get myself up for this one. We must win it! We've lost 4 and drawn 1 of our last 6 so we really need a convincing win today to put the wheels back on.

We simply must play better in every department. If the lads can get their heads right we could win it 6-0. I'll be happy with the 3-1 mentioned above. (We are going to concede) Anything worse than that would be poor against a struggling Sunderland. On a personal note I haven't seen us win since Hull in December so want to enjoy this one!

As my travel thread has disappeared.... A warning for all gooners coming from anywhere south of Woking, the trains are severely cocked up with the line between Woking and Basingstoke closed.

http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_d ... works.html

Also noticed while on that site that there are problems on local trains into Kings Cross and all trains into St Pancras. London Overground is cocked up too.

Anyway come on Arsenal. :barscarf: :barscarf:
