I agree with most of those points. Ramsey did make a couple of big mistakes with basic passing that nearly cost us. Like his team mates his shooting leaves a lot to be desired. What do they do in training?M-50 wrote:Thought both Nasri & Eboue were excellent. Eboue was struggling a little in the final 15 mins but he did take a couple of knocks and busted his bollix prior to then.
Bendtner is a clueless chicken. Fair play to him for grabbling the goal. He could have had another if he pushed himself into the box on one our attacks but he decided to remain outside the box with open space between himself and the goal.
Walcott's lack of 1st team action showed again. His decision making (crossing and position) was very poor at times but he did make an exceptional run and unleashed a strike on goal. He also made a a couple of others notable dashes down the line leaving his opponent struggling.
Ramsey showed once again that if Fabregas leaves he has the potential to step right into his shoes (they should always play in the same team). He did stray a few passes but his movement and ambition was very good.
Also a mention to Almunia - he played well.
Overall an encouraging performance and in fact a great result giving out recent record against them (we only scored 2 goals in 4 matches v Sunderland prior to yesterday).
Eboue MoTM for me. Never thought I'd be saying that. Nasri very good too.
Just as well that Bendtner had a tap in because an inch or two further out I would have bet on him missing.
Walcott really does look like a one trick pony. He gave McCartney a torrid time with lightening pace but there is very rarely a decent end product.
3 points though
