Theft

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Seems like a scam to get a sympathy collection from this forum?

Master Gooner wrote:Dear Gooners

I write to tell you that a thief has been at work and stolen a collecting tin which was used to collect funds for GOSH through Paul's sponsored laps!

Sometime between Wednesday 17th and Saturday morning 20th February, someone stole the collecting tin from the Park Cafe in Aubert Park Road. Our friends who own the cafe, tell us that the tin was nearly full and probably contained upto £200. Paul is very, very distressed by this, one thing he hates is people stealing from kids who really need help! although this incident will not stop Paul from doing the event, it has reduced him to tears today, lets remember he finds these things very difficult to deal with because of his head injury and it has seriously damaged his morale. If anyone hears or knows who may have done such a disgusting thing please can you let someone know.

Thank you for your support.

Best Wishes

Jane and Paul
Sorry to hear this folks. There really are some scumbags out there. :(

First off, who the fuck relagated this to the basement.....Bunch of *word censored* and no less charitable than the low life fuckers that knicked the fucking money in the first place. I don't know the bloke that has gone to the trouble to raise this money but it does sadden me that I do know the person that has felt this thread not worthy to be a sticky in General for at least a week!!!! Come on Mods, show some fucking class

WHO EVER RELEGATED THIS THREAD IS A C U N T

I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE PETTY BUT THE SUGGESTED COMPLAINT TO GOONER ED ABOUT SOME OF THE MODERATING ON THIS SITE IS A GOOD IDEA.

It's not even been moved to the same section as the sponsorship thread.

I had been thinking that we could set up an extra section for sponsorship/charity news but Gooner notices should really be ok BUT the general readship of this forum tends to only stick with Arsenal Chat section in the main.

As I wrote elsewhere, I was the 'guilty' party and the reason it wasn't moved there is because it was already mentioned on their 'Stickie' in Gooner Notices. Anyway, there was nothing stopping you - or any other mod - from moving it there or back to Arsenal Chat!!!

I didn't see your admission IHH. Also I don't have time to work out how to move it - it's been a while since I did anything
