1000 Premier goals

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

1000 Premier goals

Post by Chippy »

The club have chosen 10. not sure they would have been my top 10. Only 1 each from TH14 and DB10. What about the DB10 goal against newcastle and TH14 slalom against the Spuds? Also 2 from kanu but not the hatrick against the Chavs

What do you reckon?

I might have mis understood what you wrote but DB10 against Newcastle is on there and Kanu hatrick against chavs.... Its all opinions but cant argue against that top ten too much

I think that's a pretty spot on selection. Obviously everyone has their own favourites but most people's top ten would have at least 5 of those I'd say

Dennis Bergkamp's super hatrick against Leciester City in 1997 has to be up there too.

Having just got back from the pub I am now

i read that page really quickly and the only thing in my defence is, it is not well laid out. Any body convinced by that?

I am probably going to make an even bigger prat of myself but i have now read the page 7 times and can only see 1 from TH14, admittedly my fave but there are so many, as well as the Spuds slalom, the Good Friday hatrick against the scousers, including putting half the defence on their arses, the cheeky back heel etc.......

Yeah, I see what you mean with the pictures of the players, who the goal was scored against and a description!

The page is a f**king bewildering minefield :)
