SLIGHTLY CONTROVERSIAL THREAD { possible understatement }
This could prove to be a little unpopular but bearing in mind the Adebayor thread would anybody consider taking Cashley back. Highly unlikely to ever happen but on a footballing basis would anybody want him back. Clichy seems to have gone backwards lately and C**T that he is off the pitch he has been outstanding on the pitch recently until his injury.Possibly the best left back in world football at the time of his injury. Prettty much had the portugese diving boy in his pocket most of the time he played against him for England,Chavski or us. Obviously we couldn't afford him anyway so purely hypothetical question anyway but i thought i just give some ammuntion to those who felt like gettin things off their chest { and that includes DS
}

On a football basis, yes. He's rediscovered his form from when he plays for us.
On a personal basis, no no fuck no! The way he's carrying on at Chelsea now (complaining about being "victimised" while whoring his arse to anyone willing to pay) is exactly what he did at Arsenal, and exactly what he'll do every few years when he wants a payrise.
He is the blueprint moneygrabbing scumbags use to get out of their club.
Weighing up the pros and the cons, I hope he rots.

A *word censored* he indeed is, however he should have been offered a contract that reflected his ability, had he been, then we might not be discussing this topic.
In the end, he was sold to the Chavs in a swap deal with Gallas, who was immediately offered a contract worth twice that which was offered to cole.
We were sold the Gallas deal on the grounds that he could play both CB and LB, and indeed Gallas palyed a few games at LB in his first few months at the club. A berth however he strangely hasn't occupied since, despite us being injury ridden in that position on many occasions.
Gallas wanted out of Chavski cos he was being played at LB, yet we were duped by Wenger into believing that he would readily play that role for us.
I bet Gallas new when he signed that once he made an "obligatory" few appearances at LB then he wouldn't be asked to play there again.
So in answer to your question, no I wouldn't take him back, but I would certainly like to be able to turn the clock back and offer Cole the £80.000 that was offered to Gallas.

I wouldn't argue with that either. I can see the little fucker touting himself off to Madrid whilst on his 'warm weather break'.North bank girl wrote:totally agree!SPUDMASHER wrote:bollocks to the snivelling little c**t. He can fuck off and disappear for all I care
I'll put money on that he'll be playing abroad next season.
