STOKE CITY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Missed the first half an hour trying to find a link!

Lukily for all you lot things started to go right once I was watching! (apart from Aarons injury)

Still I'm not bothered about missed the game on the box as opposed to wacthing on the laptop as in the end we won, plus 3 points in a game which was (for us) potentially one of the hardest.

Horrible. I hate that this has happened. It's nobodys fault, but it's just horrible. Ruined my week and i just pray that Aaron is ok. Good luck son!

First off,Shawcross IS that sort of player, just ask Franny Jeffers, also remember his forearm smash on Adebayor last season aswell?also saw him fly into challenge in their match against Wigan

Am absolutely fuming with talksports coverage of the incident jason cuntdy and andy goldslop and colymore should be fucking ashamed of themselves "these things happen" and all that bollocks,if it wasnt mailicious why did he get sent off??

Totally agree.

I actually jumped up and cheered when you lot were awarded the penalty against that bunch of twats.

Well done lads, good result. I hope Aaron recovers very soon.

Ah, nothing personal Monostich but your arrival has reminded me of one of the most important culprits in this whole sorry saga - "Sir" Alex Ferguson. The man who first decided the way to get at Arsenal was to kick them and encouraged other managers to follow suit. Does it surprise anyone that Shawcross is a Manc reject? Shame because generally he has principles in terms of how to play the game but when it comes to kicking Arsenal he is most certainly the Godfather.

I think this tactic of kicking Arsenal harkens back to the unbeaten run and Old Trafford that season. To stop us playing Utd would just foul and foul and the ref refused to book them. I remember Reyes being continually hacked by the Neville brothers ad nausem. Since then other teams have copied the style. This happening 3 times in 5 years is the result of the "kick Arsenal to beat them" mentality!

That's correct, it's Man United's fault that Ramsey has a broken leg right now.

Jesus, change the record.

Anyone remember Gallas's shocking tackle on Davies? He got off and Arsenal scored in the same play. How's that for justice and preserving your self-imposed victimised status? How one-eyed can a supporter be? Seems Wenger's selective eyesight has spread to his disciples.

I am gutted for young Ramsey but don't go blaming us for it.
