Darren Fletcher quote
Has anyone got the link to a quote that was posted on here on Saturday night, where Fletcher said basically the only way to stop Arsenal (fabregas) was to kick them.
I need it to prove a point in an argument

Darren Fletcher has warned Cesc Fabregas to expect rough treatment when Arsenal line up against Manchester United tonight.
Sir Alex Ferguson's midfield enforcer singled out his Gunners rival, who only recently returned from near four-month absence with knee ligament damage, ahead of the Champions League semi-final first leg.
He said: “I watch how good Lampard, Fabregas and Gerrard are but when we play them I think ‘Right, I’m going to see how good you really are! I’m going to get against you and see how you like it. And when you’ve not got the ball I’m still going to get about you and see how you like it.'

Face off | Fletcher will try to snuff out Fabregas threat
“I’m going to ask you ‘Do you fancy it? Do you like getting kicked? Do you like the fact I am going to be at you for the whole 90 minutes?' As soon as you get the ball I am going to be in your face. You are not going to like it one bit. 'Are you ready for that because that’s what’s going to happen?'â€

That's pure bollocks.hugh jardon wrote:We used to have Vieira and Keown who were 'worse' than Fletcher and Shawcrossworthing_gooner wrote:Yeah Hugh but we've got more class than that and I'm proud to be a gooner for that reason.
There is a difference between being powerful and nasty.
Paddy and Martin could "bump" a player off the ball. Without crippling him.
Shawcross has got history. He busted Francis Jeffers' leg two years ago. Last season he kicked Adebayor up in the air. When the ball was yards away. When Adebayor was not even on the pitch. And put him out of business for three weeks. He is a dirty player, the likes I have not seen since Leeds of the late 60's and earl 70's. He is 22 years old. He has already fucked up the careers of two fellow professionals.
He is scum. And no amount of crybaby tears will wash that away.
