Places for a weekend break.......

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Have you tried Whitstable?

If you want to try Rossies suggestion, I stayed at the "mill times hotel" in the center of Westport recently, small and friendly hotel and not too expensive.
Hope the Gunners can put a smile back on your face ****. :barscarf:

Bath is nice. And Bristol.

Why don't you jump on a train and go to York? Loads of history. National Railway Museum is great. Take a cruise down the river. Jump on a tour bus.York Minster. You need at least two days to see the place properly.

And you can have a beer or two on the train. And you get a break from all that driving.
