It's been now 2 hours that I'm trying to find any video (i've tried in german, french, english), but I couldn't, I've just found the 2 austrian goals .:banghead: ..According to skysports ''Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner headed past Austria keeper Christian Gratzei'' ..so i guess that's the pic of the goal!!!

I guess more videos will be available tomorrow

Sure he's a big bloke but he doesnt dominate in the air, totally agree with you.

at the moment we've got to support nik. we need his size up front and personally i think this season he's been much better than last. i remember his confidence being completely shaken at a time last season and he couldn't finish the simplist of goal oppurtunities so who cares if he's a big cocky. he's been good for us of late and if we're going to win the title he will have to be a big part of it. come on bendtner!

??guys?? bendtner was PIVOTAL in the 4-3-3 formation, we have not lost many with him. His headers are stunning, his passes are not too shabby and overall hes a large player . He talks too much yeah but still hes better than having arshavin as a striker who scored 2 in like 10+games, bentner has already scored 2 in 2.

Untill we splash out £20 mill on a striker then an emerging player like Nic isnt going to be as polished as we would like but back from a spell out and scoring, am i missing something here or is that not good. Besides you can only score against who you are playing. Next up Burnley.......

He also annoys me with his silly tatts and how he's always bigging himself up.
I also hate big guys who have no heart.
SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU DANISH c**t AND JUST DO THE JOB YOU'RE PAID FOR!
I think this is well off the mark! He always gives 100% and is now showing he has goals in him with regular football, he will only improve...also there is nothing wrong with a bit of confidence, i like his attitude!

I agree with you. .....

Seriously, he's just come back from injury and has got to regain his form. At the moment since he has returned and started in games he's score 2 goals in the last 4 games. Both of them in the last two.
Okay, I'll say it before anyone else. Yes it maybe 'lower' opposition but you need to be scoring full stop regardless of who.

At the start of the season some of us (me included) had high hopes for Nik especially with the sale of Barndoor. Sadly Wenger played him as the outer striker/winger.
Now he's starting to play (4 games only so far) in his preferred role. So now that's judge him.

You can't fault his work ethic. Constantly chasing loose balls and defenders. He can be doing this at full pelt for 90 mins so he paces himself. Especially if you no it's a lost cause but he continues to but that pressure on.
This is no different to RVP but with more conviction.

I want to make a comment about him drifting wide.
I get fully frustrated with this! Our one and only tall man prancing about on the flanks. But against Sunderland I noticed something...
When he does this the other two strikers are more central. More so the opposite side striker.
So if Bendtner wonders over to the left flank whoever is on the right (say theo, Eboue or Rosicky) moves across to cover.
This may not be Bendtner as such being thick but part of our play. (tactical) This would cause slight confusion with defenders picking up players etc...
Also by dropping out wide would give us an outlet rather then contesting a ball alone upfront through the centre.
To be honest this is no different to Henry when he drifted wide.
So I think this is down to Wenger but I'll be watching closely against Burnley. In this instance I wish he would be told to release the ball quickly so he can get back into position...quickly.

The thing I like about Nik is that he is improving. His last two goals have been superb and to score that header against a very tall and strong Stoke side is more impressive for me.

He is only 22 so I think there is a lot more to come from Big B52.

totally agree - NB52 is going to get better and better from here on - he is already on 3 goals in 3 (club and country) - for a 22 year old to achieve that - is VERY impressive
