What broke Rambo's leg???

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Am finding it hard enough to accept the leg break and that shit that has followed without this type of blame deflection bullshit being aired as well  The stoke *word censored* broke ramsey's leg and that is unquestionable :x

I hear Ramsey has brittle bone disease, and if Shawcross hadn't snapped him in 2, then it would have happened in the showers or stretching in bed - poor Shawcross was just in the wrong place and the wrong time. Poor chap

for fuck sake, have you guys really watched larsson break? his feet is on the ground and breaks the moment the guy behind touches him, HE DID NOT BREAK IT ON HIS OWN.

the same with the kickboxer mentioned before. he kicked a guy and the bone broke, when he landed back his leg was already in two

i'm not saying it's impossible to break your leg with your weight, i'm saying it's VERY unlikely, and the examples being said here are ridiculous, only cisse broke it on his own

Best responses so far! ha ha ha :barscarf:

I was not trying to stir shit up here, but there is a lot of people who reckon it was not Shawcross. Ive already given reasons why i still firmly believe it was, but i have still not come across anything that proves it 100%, as i said before, even the slo-mo replays are not clear enough to say for sure.

The reason i posted this in the first place was after noticing the amount of people following this "theory" and believing that Shawcross should have his red card revoked and that Wenger should apologise to him as, according to them, "Shawcross didnt touch him"

Complete bollocks i agree, but thought someone would be able to PROVE otherwise

And me....

I would say that Shawcross's Leg is about 1 foot from Ramsey's as he plant his foot. That is proof enough that the picture provided earlier was taken a second after the impact.

To stress - i didnt believe this theory, i just wanted to prove it was wrong!

Thanks for your help Davey!

Had Rambo not been in the way, im sure Shawcross would have conceided a corner judging by how hard he was trying to kick that fucker!

OOOhhhh! Where the handbag emoticon?!
:meeeow: This will have to do.

I was only going by memory as I can't watch clips at work. As far as I recall Larsson broke his leg running.
I hold my hands up if I'm wrong but if there was contact it was minimal.

I'm amazed the amount of people who are saying it was just an accident including this Arsenal fan, this isn't the first time Shawcross has done this.
Most of the time yes he gets away with it, but if tackling keep going on like that, players will always get seriously injured every now and then.

I'll watch that later at home. If so I'll stick to my word.

Changing tact....
Watch out world Ryan-'he's a nice guy and hasn't got it in him'-Shawcross will not change the way he plays.

'Whenever I play for Stoke I am 100 per cent committed and that will be the same as ever when I next play,'
