Time to call a Truce?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Time to call a Truce?

Post by Bendtners Drinking Buddy »

Is it time to call a truce for the reamaining games?

We all know the Squad can be improved (as can any football squad), and have various opinions on where / how...but nothing can be done about this until the end of the season now, we are stuck with the current squad and need to really get behind them!!

Every League game is massive, i love the feeling before games that really mean something, if we win on Saturday and Tuesday then this time next week we will really be rocking!!

Im taking it week by week, i fully believe that were we to win 8 or 9 of our last ten games that could be enough to take us to the title. Yes, its dispointing to lose to the direct rivals, but balls to that, if we finish top it will be because we deserve it.

We are fans, in 3 weeks this could all be over, who knows, but come kick-off saturday id love the atmosphere to be electric and hear some great support for the lads on what will hopefully be an excellent last few months. We have a massive chance here, most other clubs in football don't get themselves into positions like this....we have to make the most of it! Come April when the sun is out and the beer is flowing I want to be two or three games away from the title - it can happen!!!

This is what being a fan is all about...the rest can wait until post-season.

C'MON ARSENAL!!!! :barscarf:

quality, mate :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

it's time the support the team no matter what. we are within touching distance of the title, and we should be backing up our boys to do it.

the rest can wait until the next transfer window.

I really believe we can do it!

We only have 5 home matches left this season, lets give it 100% and have no regrets. Support as loudly as you can! If not now then when???

Burnley
West Ham
Wolves
Man City
Fulham

chelsea has to do with:

blackburn away
aston villa home
manure away
totts away
liverpool away

that's by far the worst fixtures of the top 3. they have it all do to and are in poor form, so...

manure has:

blackburn away
liverpool home
chelsea home
man shitty away
spurs home

i think that's easier than what chelsea has to do, so i'd guess manure will be our main title rivals.

we have:

blackburn away (like the other two)
shitty home
totts away

isn't that just beautiful?

c'mon you gunners!!!! :barscarf: :barscarf:

Truce? NEVER!!!!!

I dont think it has ever been in doubt that we all love Arsenal and all of us want to win the league this year whichever view point you have on the current squad, manager or club in general.

COME ON YOU GUNNERS

Good article chum but uniting everyone maybe a step too far. I can almost hear it now, " well yes we did win the Champions league beating Barca and pipped Utd for the title but Arsene should have put out a stronger side in both cups!!!"
You cant please em all just most.
C'mon Arsenal give it everything including us on the terraces.

Just imagine if we were top of the league by a point going into the last game against Fulham, London derby and all that, the Chavs at home to Wigan

Squeaky bum time

I have thought all season that they would win the title, but now i think they will finish third and will be out of the reckoning with 2 games left to play. That of course based on us picking up a minimum of 28 points between now and the end of the season.
