Spot on.AFCWozza wrote:Bendtner works his fucking socks off for Arsenal, he's scored 2 in 2 for us, he's scored again tonight for Denmark, he is 22 years old, and he offers us something that no other player can. Why do people love to hate him? He could be our launchpad to the title, he as a player can give Arshavin that freedom that Van Persie allowed him, he can score headers from nothing and convert them chances what we've been creating with the ball out wide.
Give him some support, of corse he bigs himself up because none of us wankers seem to want to believe in him so if he dont whose going to>?
bendtner's goal for denmark

I'd agree with you apart from the 'superb goals'.Block91Broox wrote:The thing I like about Nik is that he is improving. His last two goals have been superb and to score that header against a very tall and strong Stoke side is more impressive for me.
He is only 22 so I think there is a lot more to come from Big B52.
A great goal against stoke.
But the tap in, unmarked, open goal from 3 yards........

Otherwise fine!

Besides, anyone who does this (2:06) always gets a bit of leeway with me.

I know alot of people don't like Bendtners attitude, but i think for any successful player, self belief is vital. He's got to beleive that he will score or he wont. We saw that with eduardo at stoke, he no longer as the self belief that he is strong enough and pulled out of a very good opportunity to score.
I have a lot of faith in Nik but i do also think that it is getting to the time where he will have to be producing a lot more regulary.

I agree his self belief is good in many ways as a striker especially you have to believe in yourself but at 22 he isnt young as such anymore so needs to start producing a run of good performances and a run of goalscoring tooMagic Merse wrote:I know alot of people don't like Bendtners attitude, but i think for any successful player, self belief is vital. That got me thinking Flash. The 2 headers Bendtner has just scored really reminded me of Shearer. Now before I get the 'Don't get carried away........Bendtner will be as good as Shearerflash gunner wrote:I agree his self belief is good in many ways as a striker especially you have to believe in yourself but at 22 he isnt young as such anymore so needs to start producing a run of good performances and a run of goalscoring tooMagic Merse wrote:I know alot of people don't like Bendtners attitude, but i think for any successful player, self belief is vital. he jus loses the ball too easily...
dosent help his case that any cross coming from the right via mr bacary has no real direction or plan behind it... just runs up and smashes it in there...not to mention our corners very very rarely make it past the first man and when they do they ususally end up beating the last man
almost seems pointless having a big man sometimes.
having said that his record since coming back speaks for itself, i just wish he didn't try beating players (never works) and just stayed in the box like a good boy.
