U2 but i bought a simple minds album way before a U2 album mostly because U2 are the most pretentious band in the world :roll:

But i have to admit that "One" is a very good record and one f all time favs :D and i'm pissed aittle :lol:

sorry, but I and my friends have drunk a lot of whiskey. they say that simple minds have sold 3 times more than u2 in england. i can not understand this.... go gunners :barscarf:

bought their 1st album, never played it more than once, shite really, led zep are incomparable (big word when drunk this much wine, prob mispelt), led zep before my time but they are fukin awsome imo, and rocked the U.S, not many brit groups achive that, esp heavy rock.

Their first album wasn't great (apart from 'Creep') but albums 2, 3 and 4 (The Bends, OK Computer & Kid A) were top, top quality and are often listed amongst the best albums. Their latest album, In Rainbows, is also great.

To be fair, my brother adores Led Zepplin.
