Henry - I’ll be an Arsenal fan until I die

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

What does that even mean?? :?

Any honest professional footballer would try and score against their old club. That's their job. I'm almost sure he wouldn't celebrate, but you can't ask him to cheat his current employers by not trying.... that's just ridiculous.

Seriously Chunky, I know everyone is allowed an opinion but you don't half come across as a bit unhinged at times - and that's before you consider your "fuck you prick" remark! :?

By the way, who doesn't fail your Arsenal loyalty standards?? :?

Chunks! You sum up the realists. Have you not forgotten how much this legend gave to the club? I found his words to be very heart felt but understand that as a player who is still in his prime playing at one of the best clubs in Europe is feeling that his alliance is being tested?
A true gooner through and through and i'm feeling ashamed at some of the negative comments.
His words made me proud to be a gooner and realise that the best players in the world that have played for the Arsenal still hold a special place in their heart.

N16, Chunky certainly does not sum up the realists. The realists know world class players when we see them. That is why we are not rosetinters.

Chunky, from time to time, comes out with bizarre comments. Henry is a gooner legend. Of course he would try to score against us!! No way would he celebrate it though.

thats what i thought about PV4 - but he did, and when Man city come to the emirates - if PV4 scores a dubious goal or handballs it on purpose - will he put his hand up and say I am Arsenal fan till i am dead, it was no goal

Henry would do the same, that shite with the orish has tainted the blokes character - he would shite on us in the CL final against Barca if he had too
Off course he would, all players would because that's what you're paid to do. If we played Ajax and TV didn't give 100percent because it's the club that nurtured him we would all lose it.

Henry was and is a legend. If he came and scored against us, I wouldn't care so long as we scored two more against his current team. Having seen PV play for citeh already, I would be impressed if he can keep up with us.

Don't blame ex players for earing a pension, we would all do it. Especially when those ex-players worked their bollocks off and gave us glory before they left, unlike that crunt those useless gunmen didn't sort out for once and for all.

Don't talk out your hole! He sums up fuck all but his own stupid opinion, mate.

Chunkyslop, I believe Henry when he says he loves Arsenal. He stayed with us when he could have picked any team in Europe to join. Just because he handled the ball in one high profile game (that was blown out of all proportion by the wanky FAI and the even wankier Engerlish media) does not mean he is now some cut throat football mercenary.

What is there for him to gain by talking up his love of our club if it isn't true?

appologies to my comment about 'the realists', it was a sweeping generalisation. I was just pissed off with chunk's comment about Henry as most of us were. It was late and i was a likkle bit drunk. No offence intended and didn't want to stoke up the realists v rosetinters debate

The man was without doubt the best striker the premiership has ever seen and we were lucky enough to have him during his prime. Watching Henry actually playing for us was like wakin up with Megan Fox on the end of my knob whilst being handed a cup of tea by Angelina Jolie (none of her 8 kids in sight either). It was a pleasure. Taxi please, for Chunky.
