PORTO CL THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just looked on uefa.com and we have got the Belgium ref De Bleeckere for our game tomorrow, always thought he was the biggest Homie ref out there , who could forget his performance against Liverpool v Inter, Dodgy pen for pool and he also sent off an inter player. Is it good news or are Uefa setting us up for a fall Ala Chas v Barce last year.
Maybe Belgium Gooner could tell us more about him ?

I have a bad feeling about this :? . Porto´s a tough side. I am afraid it´s going to be a 2-2 draw or 3-2 win for us...not enough
If Bendtner skip chances like Saturday... :banghead: we´ll be out.

De Bleeckere is a top ref... I don't think we should worry about him! Let's rather focus on how we play!! :barscarf:

#Arsenal boss Wenger confirms that Cesc is definitely out of #Porto game. 'We cannot take a gamble on him.'

I change my prediction then. If Porto score, they'll stick 12 men behind the ball and we'll struggle to get any chances to score.

1 - 1

The last time we beat porto 4-0 at home we had Persie and Fabregas. On the other hand, we did not have arshavin and vermalen.

I say 3-0 to us.

Could it not be seen as good news that he isnt being risked? Unless anyone has extra info about the injury?
