I agree with everybody that says if he aint 100% fit then dont risk him. It's funny that some take the piss out of the mancs for being carried by shrek and we could be in a similar situation ourselves cos we are nowhere the same team without cesc :(

If he dont play tomorrow night that a midfield trio of song, diaby and denilson will not win us that game. We def need a ball player in there to take on cesc's responsibilities and while many believe nasri is the guy for the job I would rather have rosicky handed that role. Strange as it might seem saying that but rosicky is stronger in possession than nasri and can add that injection of pace to our game

Like Gibbs, i feel sorry for Ramsey here because im pretty sure he would have been handed a role tomorrow night with Cesc out.

I still think we will be too strong for Porto - no doubt cesc is a miss, and even if he was 60%-70% fit i dont think he should be risked (just read he is out now anyway), there is a long way to go in the season and a win tomorrow (or indeed Saturday) would be highly mitigated if Cesc is then out for 2 or 3 months.

I agree that Song Diaby Denilson will be exactly what Porto are praying for. Based on what I saw on Sat, play Nasri in the cesc role, keep Theo for sub. We could easily have 120 mins to play.

You don't need Cesc to beat that shower of shite tomorrow night, I reckon you lot will give them a battering.

I wouldn't play Bendtner though, his misses on Saturday were shocking. I just don't see how he will get better?

Dunno, he looked relatively sharp with regards to his finishing the games before (still had no first touch!), could just have been one of those games and might make him more determined. Trouble is if it isn't that could prove the difference.

Probably should be in the Bendtner thread, but meh!

At this point in time I'd rather play Bendtner than Eduardo, and that's the only two we've got.

Knowing we need a goal Cesc would have been great but like others have said if we can't win without him then we really don;t have the calbire to win anything anyway so what does it matter!

Wenger will def go: Denilson Song Diaby

I think that central trio gives scope for an attacking front line, I'd start Theo while his confidence high with Nic B (point to prove and height as we have no Cesc to break down) and prob Nasri.

That leaves AA23 as the impacy player from the Bench and Rosicky can come on for Nasri/Theo if one isn't performing with Eduardo for Nic B if he's having a mare again

I do not believe Wenger will go with Denilson, diaby and song. I think if song and diaby are playing, there is no need for denilson. Nasri is perfectly fine with taking on cesc's role and arshavin has a chance then to play in his usual position. Rosicky and eduardo bench.

With the position we in for the P/L i wouldn't have risked Cesc as the run in his in our favour and we need him to lead us.Glad he's ruled out so hopefully we can get a decent lead on Saturday so bring him off and protect him.
