As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Sorry to hear that matey. If she paid for the ticket by credit card, can't she cancel the transaction or is it too late? If so, is there any way the transaction comes under the rules that govern dodgy credit card purchases where the bank refunds the monies?
The Caped Crusader wrote:This site is a scam, weeks of phone calls and being given the run around, finally gave up. Then the day before the game Mrs CC gets a call from some bloke (a tout) who wont give his name saying if she meets him in a pub car park he'll loan her a card, and not to talk to anyone in the ground or say where she got it from, you can draw your own conclusions from customer service like that.
Turns out this is an online version of the scam that was reported in the Standard ages ago
While unlikely to catch out any regulars you might want to warn your loved ones not to fall into the same trap if they think they're doing you a good turn.
so did you get the card and use it???
to be honest not a scamm just a touting agency... still *word censored*
That's how all touts work... meet you somewhere like a train station, hand over the ticket, then they're on their way. The reason you're not supposed to talk to anyone is in case you give the game away... personally, I'm a *word censored* so I'd grass the tout up to a steward (on the way out, obviously). They can then bar the membership if you give them the seat number. Fuck it, I'd give them the membership card too.
just phone the bank and tell them you don't know what the transaction is and that it wasnt you, they'll send you a fraud sheet for you to sign, cancel the card that was used and send you a new one then will just take the money out of the touts bank account...simples
