Dresden Gnuey. Absolutely fantastic place. Fly Stansted to Berlin Schonfeld then hop on a train. It is an amazing place. The centre of the city is very modern (not sure why

) but the old part is brilliant. Gothic architecture around every corner. People are great and prices are reasonable. Well worth the effort.

places i want to go to again:

florence
berlin
krakow
prague
st petersburg
moscow

i guess a few are more suited to the 'younger' gentleman, but one of them's where i'd go for a longer weekend...
