now as matches are selling out before they go to red members. i know we get a small allocation, but its going to be a mad dash to get a ticket just to see fulham/man city/wolves
it has to be said theres an awful lot of silver members that are just glory hunters who only want to go to matches when were on a high. when the team is going through a tough patch they wont get a ticket. whereas, im a red member, and i go to nearly every game even if were going through a tough time. i just think this is something arsenal should maybe look at, so the real fans get more of an advantage.

Unfortunately we have our fair share of them too mate. I guess every club does.
As soon as we get to the business end of any competition they come out of the woodwork and deprive those that have been going all year of their tickets.

I'd imagine there are more 'glory hunters' in red level membership than Silver. Silver members have been signed up for longer. It would also be the case that they'll be surge in demand from Reds to get tickets for the final games.
It just measures the success of Arsenal and United though. Wenger turned Arsenal FC into a global brand, we shouldn't complain, it makes us money and buys things like beautiful big stadiums and...Berbatov

not necessarily. a junior gunner (16-) becomes a silver member instantly, so can be a junior gunner for 1 month then suddenly becomes a silver. i just think red members that go to every game, like myself, should get rewarding in some way.
ive been to nearly every home league game this season, including suffering through chelsea and man utd, but now i cant get 1 when it really matters a silver member going to fulham might not have been all season, but suddenly turns up to see us lift a trophy potentially, doesnt sounds very fair to me
also, final game of last season against stoke there were loads of tickets available, i wonder why that is

I agree projoe. I was a season ticket holder until i went to uni and now can only get back onto the red members list. Had the same problem with the FA Cup semi last year after going to ever stage before when the ground was pretty empty.
But really, what's the solution? If you do it on 'attendence' like the away points, people just buy their tickets and sell them on to keep their points up. There's no way to tell the person buying is the person attending.

It wouldn't exactly be fair to give a red member who has potentially only been a member for 1 season a ticket in favour of a silver member who has been paying their money for 7 years.
No single system will satisfy everybody. It has been made fairer by the allocation of 1500 red member tickets, I understand why you're annoyed but I don't think the system should change.
I've made the most of it when we weren't title contenders and when it was easy to get tickets so I'm not going to complain... I'll find a way to get a ticket no matter what
