Hoyte is wonderful

Post by DanielD »

I've seen his comments yesterday at the official site and it warmed my heart. Just goes to show to players (Jens, Bendtner, Diaby) that they should appreciate the fact that they are in the best club in the world, that they should try to work hard to get to the first team, and not whine to the press of their lack of chances.

I agree completely re Jens, his attitude stinks. Bendtner also shows prima donna tendencies, but Diaby? He's been pretty realistic about things given the number of quality CM players we have, and says he'll fight for a place this season and look at things in the summer. Fair enough, in my opinion.

I definetly agree that abou's comments wasn't as bad as Jens and Bendtner's ones, but still, why is he talking about that he might be leaving in the summer? but as you said, his attitude is ok.

Diarra on the other hand should be keeping his mouth shut. Given our midfield riches, he knew what he was getting into in choosing to join Arsenal. He has a big future with us, probably as Cesc's partner (Gilberto will be gone by next summer and I just don't see Flamini maintaining his specatcular form of this season), but spouting off about being confused about AW's choices is no way to start an Arsenal career.

players will always be unhappy when there not playing and feel that diaby will move on next summer,, but justin knows his playing days are limited and its nice that he's not mouthing off to the press

Goes to show the difference between just having english players and having good players with good attitudes..
Foreign or otherwise, I always like to hear this from a player, but with Justin what makes it better is he's an Arsenal boy, a fan, and you can tell that by the way he talks about the club.
I've always had a soft spot for the boy, I just hope he gets more playing time and chances to improve his game..

Justine Hoyte Hoyte Hoyte!

I really like him but he isn't good enough yet.

I really rate Diaby and think there is more chance of him partnering Cesc than Diarra?

All he has to do is work on that left foot

^^ not sure about that mate..At least we know what Diarra's there for..he's a very good holding midfielder whereas I dont think Diaby or Wenger have found a place for him (Abou) yet..If he doesn't settle into a position soon I could see him being sold..We have cover in the defensive and attacking midfield positions..

Fair comment.
BUT I think Diaby is strong in the takle, has the techinique to give himself a bit of time, and can play holding... Pushing up when necessary a la Vieira?

got to agree about diarra and think he has most likely already been told that next season will see him in the centre with cesc,, still not sure about diaby and sometimes he just doesnt look interested or good enough,,

Thinking about it though, with two relatively short centre backs and Cesc in the middle, wouldn't it be great to have someone in the spine of the team who can actually win a header against the hoof merchants?? I meanexactly how tiny is Diarra btw?
