Also, having seen Faith No More live, I'm starting to really enjoy their stuff. In fact, I bought their greatest hits album today and am just starting to listen to it now.
Much as I like U2, there is one thing that gets up my nose a bit. "The Edge". What a shite ooh-look-at-me-I'm-so-talented-I-deserve-a-special-name bollocks.
He really is not that talented. He is so easy to copy, that even I can do it. And I'm an old git who only started playing guitar a few years ago. Pffff!
Not getting into who is the best but Radiohead, The Libertines, Arctic Monkeys, Blur, Foo Fighters, The Strokes, Kasabian are all excellent bands. Never been into U2 or Simple minds
