theres been a couple of threads about modric already and we had a croat registered during the summer who said he was going to bayern in jan,, guess that mightnt happen now that chelsea

are reported to be interested,,
i just cant see wenger buying another midfielder this season and he must know the areas in which we are weak ie striker, winger goalkeeper

Thanks god Omer Golan wants to play for Chelski, he's RUBBISH!!!

He is the most impotent striker in the Israeli league and probably the most overated player in it aswell. He isn't as good as Tal Ben-Haim, not to mention Yossi in terms of quality.

Actually Modric plays as a left-winger as well as a playmaker. When Hleb and Rosicky joined us from Stuttgart and Borussia respectively; they were actually playmakers but Wenger started using them at wing. So Modric is a left-footed left-winger that we need, if he is cheaper than 10 million that is.

fair point but my asking is for a left winger and not a player that plays left wing.. we have wenger playing all sorts of players on the wing for us but none are a winger in the ribery mode

After Modric's performance yesterday, I can see Abramovich offering: 30 million to Dinamo Zagreb and 50 thousand a week to Modric. Modric was better than Lampard, Wright-Philips, Bridge and Joe Cole all took together
