Our young Noggie center back currently on loan at Bundesliga side Nurnburg. This boy is very good; clever on the ball, can pass the ball out, is strong in the air and tough in the tackle, very mature (captained the reserves at 17) and pretty versatile (played many of his games for Nurnburg in the DM position).

I wouldn't be surprised if he's included in the first team squad next season, not at all in fact. He'll be our 4th choice CB and we'll all get to see him in the red & white for the first time next season. I think he'll make a good impact, he's turning 20 in the summer and has had lots of playing experience in various European leagues, so he should be ready for the PL hopefully. Who knows, we may have another Vermaelen on our hands!!

The law of averages is on our side now Sutch :D . I remember there being a proper scrum for this lad when we signed him, Fergie tried hard to get him but he came to us because he's a fan (good lad).

I hope that he does turn out to be a Vermaelen clone as we need all the good defenders we can get hold of - playing well in a decent league like the Bundesliga isn't a bad start.
