Leyton Orient

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

1) They host Tottenham's reserves
2) As the crow flies they are quite near us
3) They sound like a Chinese restaurant

Have to admit i have a soft spot for Orient too as my mums side of the family supports them but i cant believe they sold their soul to the devil :) by hiring their pitch to sp*rs. The only redeeming factor is they do wear red :?

Nobody hates Orient do they?? I always have a bit of a soft spot for them coz they knoecked the chavs out of the FA cup in 1972, 3-2 at Brisbane Rd after being 2-0 down at half time to a chav side that had Osgood, Hollins, Hutchinson etc, made wonderful tv viewing I can tell you  Oh there I go again, talking about the old days   I spose I should hate them as they're big rivals of my local team, Southend Utd but I really can't be arsed

And in 1978 they rolled over against us in the FA Cup semi final. Two own goals in the first half (though Supermac, inevitably, claimed both of them) meant it was probably the easiest semi final we've ever played.

I've been grateful to them ever since.

I too have always liked Orient and if I didn't support the Arse, they'd probably be my team (locality and whatnot), or maybe Barnet.

Judging by posts on this thread, this board is manifested by closet-Leyton Orient fans
