Theo Walcott
Say what you like about him and yes there are loads of things he needs to put right but everyone knows that a way a player improves his game is to have a run in the side.
After a promising display against Burnley, he suddenly gets relegated again to the bench for the next few games. I know you would ask who he could leave out but on today's performance Arshavin should have been taken off ages before he eventually did get substituted. Form might be temporary but his attitude today was shocking and with us down to 10 men we needed everyone busting a gut and it was the first time I really got pissed off with him.
Walcott would have been at the very least a pacy outlet when we were under the cosh in the 2nd half and like I say after Burnley I was hoping he would continue to boost his confidence and be given more chances.
Love him or hate him we need to know whether Walcott has a future at Arsenal and whether he will become the player we thought he would be. At the moment how can anyone judge him when he isn't being given a proper chance?
PS This was meant to be a new thread about Walcott but ended up in the wrong place!! I'll cut and paste!!!
