Whats the best game you have been to this season? ..

Post by Gooner_Sam »

..and why?

This can be decided on the result, atmosphere, journey etc etc.

Mine was probably Stoke away (PL game) Having gone up to that rotten place the season before and seeing us lose their, and also witnessing a loss in the FA Cup, it was great to see us getting three points, the injury to Ramsey of course was the low point but in terms of the result and the atmosphere it was a great day!

Whats yours?

As in one's we've attended?

I didn't go to Stoke but agree that was a pivotal moment.

For one's I've been to, the comeback against Bolton at home (being 2-0 down to then go top of the league) and the Spuds game stand out...

The game against the scum was def a stand out game for me - the atmosphere for that 5 minutes before half time was just brilliant and we absolutely hammered their fans  :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Gooner FC V Sunderland Fans FC.

The standard of football that day was simply amazing and I feel honoured to have been there.

Also, seeing Fwank in that dodgy brown velvet tracksuit was a once in a lifetime experience!

Between 3 for me;

- Spuds home. 2 goals in 11 secs = absolute mayhem in block 5.

- Bolton home. Was next to the away fans & the banter was great. Coming from 2 goals down added a nice bit of tension & excitement.

- Blackburn home. Again coming from behind added some spice. Plus it was great to see TH14 & it seemed as though the team really wanted to put on a show for him.

That was amazing, I was in Block 17 (I think), and was still celebrating the first goal, turned round, Fabregas was on the edge of the **** box..... Fucking mayhem!

Celtic at home was the best for atmosphere around the ground before the game, were drinking cans with some Celtic fans outside the Drayton Arms... the shit they were drinking tasted like petrol!

I went to Hull away a couple of weeks back but was in with the Hull fans!!!! Wasnt too difficult to keep our Arsenal identity a secret until Bendtner scored at the end then our muted screams could be heard. Must admit i couldnt wait to get out of there by the final whistle

Agree... That 5 minutes before half time the place went mental, thats the best atmosphere ive seen at the new ground i think, the place erupted didnt it!

I loved it when we were still celebrating, looking up and screaming 'he is in on goal again' haha :barscarf:
