As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Assuming gallas is out, would you rather play sol n song, sol n silvestre or silvesre n song, personally i would go for sol n song, and if sol doesn't recover for next wednesday we should play song alongside TV, and keep diaby as holding midfielder.
Song and Sol looked solid enough against the Spammers. I can't Silvestre playing for us again (didn't he have a go at Wenger in the papers a few months ago?)
u cant stick Silvestre in this game, i'd like to see Song and Sol as u said, with Cesc Diaby and Denilson as the 3 centre mids, id be happy with that seeing as tv is out
Thing is, if Sol plays Saturday then he's gonna be questionable for Barca on wednesday... Who would you rather have trying to keep Messi & co at bay, Sol or Sylvestre?!

That's the question - Sol is unlikely to play Saturday, then Wednesday. So if Gallas definitely is out, then there isn't much option other than to use Silvestre. Or a partnership of Sagna and Song .
I think it will be Silvestre and Song...and I will be pooing...a lot.
We shouldn't have signed Sol if he can't play twice in four days. In that position I'm fairly sure he can, especially given the boost the big game against Barca will give him. Got to play him in both.
If we're desperate for alternatives, is my mind playing tricks on me or was it not said that Sagna can play in the middle when we signed him - certainly has a good enough leap on him. In which case you could play him with Eboue at right back in one of the games.
There is more to think about than just who the best two are, thats obvious, its Sol and Song, but id rather save Sol for Barcelona, which means on saturday i would play Silvestre and Song, they can handle Birmingham no problem!
