As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
No luck for us im afriad, me and AT were both in the que, nigh on an hour and i still wasnt in - the site seeems to go into meltdown for these games! Same with United semi last year.
We never have this problem for Burnley or Wolves do we?

Yeh it is typical, all the fair weather fans come out for the big games. I have got a ticket for the away leg no problem but (despite having a Silver and being in the Q for an hour and a half) couldn't get a ticket for the home leg. I know the club can never please anyone but think the people going to the away leg should have somehow been given first dibs on the home tickets.
I believe the wait was because alot of people were putting ticket's into their baskets and then awaiting membership numbers so that they could be assigned to... well that's my theory anyway...

Did you manage to get a ticket Frank?
No, I was logged into the site, watching the 'progress' bar move as fast as Greedy was doing last season for us... (i.e. stationary)
Looks like I was bloody luck then. Interestingly I started queueing with 3 browsers at the same time Chrome, was much faster, Firefox was second and IE hardly moved! Me and Chippy Jnr will represent you all!
Sorry, don't want to sound like I'm crowing. To make you feel better I am going to be on a plane when the away leg is on! Booked about a year ago.
As a season ticket holder i get to about 10 to 15 aways a season and gradually build up my credits through the year. Then if a big fixture comes up then first priority must go to the fans that have been to more aways than me. Works perfectly. If there is someone who has been more regular than me, great i will wait in line.
The same could be said of the silver memberships that do many homes and aways that are all in the same boat as the lot that will just come out for the"Marquee" games.
With the Away credit scheme there are few complaints regarding the way this works so why not do this for home games?? For the FA Cup semi v CSKA London you needed 5 away credits to apply so why not have a "Loyalty" scheme for the home fixtures aswell.
Or is it the fact that really all that matters is the the club take someones money, regardless who's it is...
This needs sorting as i think that this ticketing system stinks for home games.
