Galasso, At 3pm TODAY you shoudl be able to buy a Barcelona away ticket and then book £210 return trip from Gatwick.

That will aslo get you to 5 credits!!!!!! :D
I've got my finger on the pulse TF...but I'll leave it when I need to log on to the Arsenal website   That's 4pm for me here in Cologne, which also means the Gatwick trip is non-starter. The prices from here to Barcelona were already high before the draw was even made! I could go from Dusseldorf Weeze or Frankfurt Hahn - but these airports have absolutely no relation to those cities whatsoever

This is the debate season ticket holders will fume with, who deserves a ticket more:

A season ticket holder with no credits

or

A member with 25+ credits but with no season ticket

For me as a season ticket holder with credits its a tough one, as I sit next to genuine fans who just do not like to travel to games, but then I see a lot of fans who go to away games and would love to be an ST holder.

Id be very suprised if Arsenal went with members with credits infront of season ticket holders with no credits as there will be uproar, considering a lot of people with 25+credits lend their membership when theyre not going and there are a few on here who do that.

Sorry I just meant people with credits without a season ticket.

q] A season ticket holder with no credits

In theory this is an interesting question - and I should say that as a ST with 25+ away credits I am neutral

But in practice, despite there being loads of Cyber Warriors claiming that they go to every away game on a red  I think that priority should go to any member who has more than 15 credits THIS season or (for example) 35+ credits on the current three season system.

The reason I believe this is it gives the nod to the very few that go to ever away game but doesn't overly penalise the chances of ST holders who go to no away games at all. Believe me there are very few who will have 15+ for THIS season who are not on the away ticket scheme.

As an ST with 5 away credits I wouldn't begrudge those with 25+ and no ST getting first dibs. After that I'm not sure, the bias in me says STs then the usual away credit scheme.

Be serious.... How much money does Arsenal make from a home season ticket holder? Maybe £800-£900.

And how much money do they make from someone who goes to 15 away games..... I guess they don't get to keep the ticket money so lets have a stab at £10 per game i.e £150.....and that's maybe unrealstic.

And you ask who Arsenal are going to look after when it comes to dishing out Cup Final tickets......

I assuming that away clubs get a share of the gate receipts - and presumably extra for their own fans as they are the ones doing the processing. Maybe they just get the extra fee that we normally pay on a ticket?

I always thought the best way to distribute final tickets would be to offer them to those who had been to the most home AND away matches that season, or maybe the last two seasons. Obviously season ticket holders would automatically get all the home matches as credits and as a reward for being a season ticket holder they could possibly get a bonus 5 credits that others don't get.

I know people will say it would just mean people lending their memberships out non stop but that's the case anyway!

I don't think there's ever going to be an egalitarian way to do it. I reckon they should hold a race around the Emirates concourse for tickets, season ticket holders start at the front, red members at the back. And if a corporate falls over, he might get trampled on...

nope - sharing gate receipts changed when the PL started
another chance for the rich to get richer (and tbf to encourage stadium expansion)

processing in normally about £1.60
so around £6k per match, peanuts
