BRUCE FOR ENGLAND????

Because they're clearly a lot more talented. Anyway, who else is there?

Bruce?
Allerdyce?
Pearce?
Redknapp?

Give me a break. Yeah, forget the fact that a coach that has won the league nearly everywhere he has gone wants the job, we'd better give it to 'Arry Redknapp or Stuart Pearce because they're English! Where, exactly, will that get us?

Exactly, Mclaren was appointed in the first place just because he was English and the old duffers at the FA were under pressure from the press to appoint and Englishman rather than somebody who might actually be able to teach us something other than how to take a long throw and pump a free kick into the box and hope some big lummox gets on the end of it which seemed to be our only resort when things were'nt going our way against Croatia.
Ah bollocks, I could'nt give a fuck anyway, after hearing about the injuries we've got after the international week I'd be quite glad for international football to be abolished altogether.

Actually the Fa got rejected by Scolari and Wenger before they went for Steve, they hardly bowed to the pressure for English manager until it was the only choice left.

Yep, good point but after being rejected by the best the FA really should have held out, taken their time and I'm sure they could have come up with a better appointment than a man who's main tactic in the UEFA cup with Middlesbrough was to go 4-1 down, put five forwards on and lump it into the box and by some miracle it worked a couple of times. At international level that aint goin to work.
Can't wait to get back to the proper stuff tomorrow, I'm sick of all this international bollocks  A saturday 3pm ko, drinkies, footy, drinkies, drinkies, drinkies, heaven

I have been know to frequent the 12 Pins  You've got it about right, more opposite the Blackstock Rd tho. If you see a pub called the Blackstock Arms on the corner of Blackstock Rd/ Seven Sisters Rd, lookm over the other side and that's the Pins.

Hey Rebel G, have you noticed we've somehow turned a sensible thread about Steve Bruce being the next England manager into a discussion on the 12 ins??

It's usually open no matter what the ko time is and I'd say that getting a few down your throat before a s***s game is pretty much compulsary
