Whats the bloody point

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Whats the bloody point

Post by stearmaster »

in england having an international friendly on friday when they have a *what could be important* match next wednesday, i mean we *arsenal* wont have no injury worries unless he wants to try theo out, also are england the only dumb ARSEnal nation with a stupid, pointless friendly, not only friday i mean over the international break, and even if they aint, i hate the international break, always seems to come when arsenal are in good f*cking for aswell!!!!!

How many arsenal players will come back injured this time?

hopefully none!!!!

Im pretty sure that this waste of time was orgainsed by the twats at Soho Square thinking that qualification would be in the bag now. All we will hear this week is one by one players pulling out of the squad due to "little niggles" If it was at Wembley at least I might understand getting a few bums on seats there to pay for it - but what is the point??? :x

Already got my ticket for the Croatia game - come on Israel!!!! Its funny how we get slaetd for the lack of England players yet there isn't nearly enough negatiev media for the Assholes who get a grion strain the night before the game!

I know it will be unpopular on this board but I'm a massive fan of england - ok not their style of play but hey its still my country and i'd never consider pulling out no matter who paid my wages

And thats the reason why you can't kick a ball with a mindset like that.

I've said this for years but if i was ever offered a place for a country let knowing a local football team i would stright away go with the Rep of Ireland as England pisses me off though i know in a million years i wouldn't get into a team now :( oh well & for the friendly it is bollocks but they do get payed unlike us who folk out to see them or any other side

Well the friendly proved to be costly with the loss of Owen but it was a decent idea, it gave our makeshift defence a run out, gave Young, Carson and traitor boy experience they will benefit from. Normally it would have been useful but somehow the players at the back managed to forget ever playing with each other

The friendly was played so the English players could say they played in Austria.Because next summer they will be watching on the box.Watching better teams like Italy,France,Spain and Germany. They might learn a few lessons
