Stephen Carr - Useless Prat!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Stephen Carr - Useless Prat!

Post by Cesc is God »

After today's game, he was smiling (guntishly) at our end, and smugly putting his thumb up. And then the Arsenal hurled abuse at him, and he told us to "do one" as he fled down the tunnel.

If it were any other player, then I would have been annoyed. But it meant nothing coming from a player of his "quality".

... I just think it's funny how he's played us about 20 times, and the best that he's got is a fucking draw (don't hold me to this stat, but he has a shite record against us). The other fact that he's an absolute ***** footballer who has never achieved anything in his life, is also encouraging too!

So yeah, load of ballacks or whatever. Even though he is a paddy/brummie, you have to laugh when shit ****, celebrate undeserved draws against us. If only they learnt how to beat us....

i was too disappointed to watch the players come off, just had my head down then all of a sudden heard a bit of aggro, and was told what Carr did. Always has been a muggy prick and if someone was to mention that to OB he will be fined as it incited the Arsenal fans.

Unless someone recorded it, or got a photo... or it was picked up on CCTV, I doubt anything will happen.

Still, it means fuck all coming from such a useless mug.

This is the only time he has been a winner

When I think of Carr, apart from that he could never make his mind-up to play for us (Ireland) or not, I always remember this match:-

So, if you're getting wound up, think of that!

Also, I'm sure we would have loved it if Bolton had managed a point yesterday and Jack Wilshere gave the Mancs a thumbs up

Carr was with us for a while as a kid if I am not mistaken plus I also think I can recall reading that he was an Arsenal fan. Listen he is an ex scum player and has no doubt listened to no small amount of shit from us over the years and yesterday he took his chance to exact some revenge and you cant blame him for that

I don't blame him. I would have done more in his position!

But it's just funny coming from a footballer that achieved nothing in his career. :

That's a bit harsh. For an Ireland point of view, he did a very good job and injury robbed him of a place at the WC 2002.

Considering he retired for a time a few years back, you wouldnt know it.

I said this before it and I'll say it again, if fans can hurl abuse at players - it's a bit rich to complain when thay get some back.

Although I dont like it being directed at Gooners.

Coming from a Paddy?

Just kidding. I understand it, but compared to 99% of footballing careers, he didn't exactly shine.
