Who can we buy for next season?

GK: Lloris/Akinfeev/Hart

CB: Jerome Boateng/Agger/Chiellini (cant really think of many off the top of my head)

CM: not sure who, but anyone is better than denilson :banghead: maybe play nasri with fabregas in the middle, with song sitting behind.

Winger: if we stick to the 433 formation, i think we need someone better than walcott, and someone more suited than nasri and rosicky.
GK: Jehle

CB: Roland Juhasz - experienced, hard, great in the air, powerful, takes no shit from no one, good age (26)

DM: Felipe Melo - Tough midfielder with skill, a crunching tackle and fantastic workrate

CF: Chamakh (we got him already :-P )

the amount of goals higuain has scored of late,he'd cost £30m+ as well(like he'd wanna leave madrid either)

GK joe hart is a proper long term pick and he's ready now bit like safe hands back in 1991 when we signed him(cheap enough for aw)

FB is starting to become a problem with gail and lasagne putting in some ropey games-gibbs looks a decent option for next year but cover is needed maybe micah richards(cheap also)

CB might sound stupid but a richard dunne type who would put his face in anywhere and probably accept a bit part to come to us,how many points he has earned villa this year(even cheaper)

CM simple.yaya toure, big hard working ball winner(gotta spend money in this position)

RW/LW theo is fast running outta time for me and someone like van der vaart who can play anywhere but id settle for a winger with pace who unlike theo has a trick and a final ball(vdv is available and wouldnt cost a fortune)

ST gotta be dzeko at wolfsberg he's got it all.big,powerful,2 footed, pass, shoot, head, scored twice against manure this year

but fuck it,afree transfer from france/africa/frenchafrican will probably be it again.plus aaron will be back at christmas so it'll be like a new signing  also denilson will have another years experiance so signing someone good would 'kill' him :banghead:

I have it on good authority- a source within the club- that Wenger has got his eye on these two. We are very close to landing the pair of them. Amazingly, they fit into the wage structure and are available for a price that we can and will pay once the season finishes.

Take a look at them in action:

:D It's not about who we buy BUT how much (if any)is Arsene willing to spend!!!!It's a world cup year and guarantee prices will shoot up so i wouldn't expect any surprises.....would be nice though.

We gotta to get a class keeper that's obvious even to a blind man,we need not 1 but 2 CB because as shown if we didn't have Sol we got jack shit as cover.Wenger brought tweety but is reluctant to use him so has basically wasted money on wages and transfer fee and with the uncertainty about Gallas 2/3 CB are needed.

A DM is a must even though Song has improved immensely he's not good enough,we need a DM who can make late runs into the box,can pass a ball more than 5yards,take some of the pressure from Cesc and bring the ball out and start a attack plus is mobile and has a turn of pace.

A 1st striker is another must someone such as Dzeko. He's tall, powerful and has good shot in both feet.He has a good scoring record in the bundesliga and is just the right man we need to play with RVP and Bendtner. But who i am to tell wenger his job as ''he knows''.

I don't expect any big signings at all really but the same tripe from wenger about the squad which lacks quality in depth.

I'd certainly go along with the suggestion of Craig Gordon. The biggest concern is he has had a few injuries and as soon as we enquire Sunderland will ask big money. Keeper is the number 1 priority for me.

Centre back wise, don't be surprised if Wenger get's nobody even if Gallas goes. He could easily promote Djourou to first choice, give Campbell another year and mark Norveidt 4th choice (plus knowing Song can play there if required).

Don't think we'll make any major signings going forward with the exception of Chamakh. We've got loads of attacking players and given how so many contracts have been dished out doesn't sound like we will be looking to get rid of anyone.

Any reason other than the vid to sign someone like him?

Camerone Jerome, Carlton Cole, Ryan Shawcross, Nigel Reo-Coker and Joe Hart or anyone else with two hands (ono) to play in goal

I'm not sure about Chamakh but it looks like thats all but a done deal so it's pointless hypothesizing about any one else up front, we will just have to see how good he turns out to be..

After that the cheque book needs to come out..

A goalkeeper is obviously a must, a big effort needs to be made here to get some real quality, f*ck potential and f*ck maybe good enough, if it takes a big transfer fee or a hefty wage so be it.

Next in line i would make Yaya a priority target again, as he would be both very strong at Dcm and more than adequate cover at CB.

Beyond this i would do a bit of wheeling and dealing unload a couple of our highly paid under-performers (walcott and denilson) and bring in one quality player with those funds and with the freed up wages, preferably a wide man who can cross a ball, someone like Young would be nice..

I doubt if we will get through the summer without at least one of our first 11 looking for pastures greener unexpectedly, but assuming we do, the additions i have mentioned or similar would convince me that we were showing the ambition necessary to achieve what is possible instead of hoping for the best..

Absolutely - we will buy fcuk all unless wenger leaves cos spending money is not his way. :(

Has everybody forgotten that sol is only here until the end of this season and that his contract will not be renewed ?

Even if we get our wish that almunia is not our number 1 next season I would very much doubt that wenger will look at a replacement outside the club so it would prob be fabinski as number 1 then. Personally I dont understand all this fawning over the young pole at brentford - he may well be a great prospect (theo anyone ? ) but he is playing in league one ffs so how in christs name could you put him straight in as number 1 next season ? :?

Last summer (after the under 21 championships) I suggested that jerome boatang would be a good signing as he looked pacy and quite strong but the suggestion received minimal if any support on here. Again I would be very surprised if we would be willing to pay the necessary fee for the guy

As long as wenger stays then we can expect a similar transfer policy next season so dont go expecting too much in the summer please lads

We need a keeper, another CB or 2 if Gallas goes and a Centre forward.RVP will only give you half a season and Bendtner just isnt up to it. :barscarf:

Boot out Almunia,Flapianski,Silvestre,Walcott and Vela
