Isn't Wenger telling the journo to fuck off with his shit-stirring rather than condemning tackles? That's how it reads to me. I actually expected Wenger to create more fuss about ref, pitch etc than he did. I think he knows its unacceptable for title contenders to concede a goal like that in the 92nd minute.
On the side note scyzyzyzy is on loan and if we have anyone in goal next season it should be someone new. Fuck it, just play gunnersaurus there on Wednesday.
I just watched AW's post match interview on ATVO (censored) and you can tell by his body language that he is 1000% fuming...the way he keeps looking off towards the sides rather than at the journo's....a classic case of encoding language where he's telling anyone who asks him a question to just F*CK RIGHT OFF!
Maybe he should do a Joe Kinnear and let loose on the scumbag media....heaven knows they all deserve it, always making up sh*t and mis-representing whatever is said as well as down right lies....journo's SCUM every lasy one of em.
Wenger has no-one to blame but himself!!! I've said for a few years now that he speaks too much and is way too accommodating to the press. They know that he answers almost any question asked - even when it has nothing at all to do with Arsenal - and take liberties with Wenger's honesty and generousity.
Given the years he's been here and the amount of times they've miss-used his comments to create controversy, you'd have thought that Wenger would have learnt by now that regardless of how intellectually superior he is in comparison to them, the media always get to have the last word because they can manipulate not only what you say, but also the context.
Our manager needs to firstly stop sharing his opinion on any other team's situation apart from his own. A simple 'no comment' would suffice. After all, the only reason they ask him is because they want to create headlines (Eric Cantona's 'sharks, trawler and sardines' analogy was spot on!!).
Then he should go all 'Fergie' on the media's asses and start banning some of those scum that write stuff that is patently a bunch of lies or deliberately misleading. Until he does that, Wenger's openness and generosity will continue to be taken advantage of by the blood sucking leaches that masquerade as journalists and the upholders of truth.
AA was bad. His attitude, work rate and general demeanour is starting to grate on me. Apart from when he wants to go on a little run, everything else seems half hearted.
