REDaction's Cesc Fabregas banner - vote on the wording

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Thanks 8) Not really sure what's gonna happen with it though, I don't really have the money to get it printed :(
Thats a shame - did you send it to REDaction?
RedAction have the Rocky one but are unsure if they'll be getting it made up for Wednesday, as funds are a bit limited now. We suggested that it may be better to save it for next year's 10th anniversary.

As far as i'm aware the Viva Fabregas one & a different version of El Capitan to the one I posted are being made up along with the Spirit of 1970 one, which I wasn't involved with...

jesus 3 banners all for cesc, am i the only one that is slightly embarrased by that, i dont want people to look in at us and think god they must really rely on fabregas or they seem desperate etcetc. Two would have been great with a mixture of other banners, that way it would look like fabregas is a big player for us but we're not completly fixated on him.

Are there any other flags banners being used? They should pul the stops out and make the rocastle banner ffs.

Aaron Ramsey, United Nations of Arsenal, Pride of London, 'Clockenders' etc are all being used pre match, and well as the new 'SPIRIT OF 1970'

Too late now for the Rocky one.

I'm not embarassed about three banners for Cesc, as we do rely on him, and he is the figurehead of this team, as well as the captain.

Two separate banners, plus his image opposite McLintock - he was the only profile to use there really. Not sure Denilson or Almunia would have the same affect!

Probably the best choice out of a rather lack-lustre list (try saying that when you're pissed!!!).

Had some worries about the spelling being incorrect but the following from wiki has eased those somewhat:

El Capitan is a 3,000-foot (910 m) vertical rock formation in Yosemite National Park, located on the north side of Yosemite Valley, near its western end. The granite monolith is one of the world's favorite challenges for rock climbers.

The formation was named "El Capitan" by the Mariposa Battalion when it explored the valley in 1851. El Capitan ("the captain", "the chief") was taken to be a loose Spanish translation of the local Native American name for the cliff, variously transcribed as "To-to-kon oo-lah" or "To-tock-ah-noo-lah". It is unclear if the Native American name referred to a specific Tribal chief, or simply meant "the chief" or "rock chief".[1] In modern times, the formation's name is often contracted to "El Cap", especially among rock climbers.

The top of El Capitan can be reached by hiking out of Yosemite Valley on the trail next to Yosemite Falls, then proceeding west. For climbers, the challenge is to climb up the sheer granite face; there are dozens of named climbing routes, all of them long and difficult.

Of course it would be good if people brought their own banners as well as previously asked.

Does anyone know what has happened to the big 'We Are The Arsenal' flag?

http://redaction.org.uk/front.html

You can see it in the top left of the above link, it was at WHL in 04. Really impressive flag and would be great to see it on Wed. Not seen it in a while, is it a RA flag?

Going to look a bit silly when Fabregas leaves eventually

If he leaves, he leaves. When he does, the banners won't be put out any longer. However, while he's here we should show our appreciation.
