Those not going tomorrow night

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Those not going tomorrow night

Post by Swale_Gooner1985 »

I know quite a few people missed out on tickets tomorrow night, due to our soppy ticket system, so.....

what are your plans for tomorrow night if you are not going?

I am getting a few lads together (Me, Andrey's tongue, BDB, our three dads and another mate of mine) watching it at mine, nice big room with a 50 inch plasma, plenty of beers on the go, half time hot dogs and burgers...Should be good, we do it every now and then, usually for big away games as we are at the home ones (usually)

we did it for Everton on the opening day which went quite well  and Liverpool away which was also succesful

whats everyone else upto? :barscarf:

Im also going to try to get ITV in HD on sky plus as i havent done that yet

I’d just like to echo something said on the Arsenal website, about the atmosphere at the game tomorrow night.

If you are lucky enough to have a ticket, please get there as early as possible to show your support (gates open at 6.30!) Wear red and white, even if it’s just a scarf or a hat. Make as much noise as you can to make the atmosphere one to remember. The players can hear the noise of the crowd, even when they’re in the dressing rooms, so lets all sing those Arsenal songs before they even step onto the pitch. There shouldn’t be an empty seat in the ground for the duration of the 90 minutes.

The atmosphere in the Nou Camp will be brilliant, but also intimidating. There’ll be nearly 40,000 more people in there but I know we can match them.

The crowd at Anfield has so often got a mediocre Liverpool side into the next round, a good crowd at the Emirates can do the same with a brilliant Arsenal side.

So lets get behind the team and be the twelfth man tomorrow night!

COME ON ARSENAL!!

Swale has hosted 0-4 United and 6-1 Everton, so thats an average of 5.5 goals a game............

Swale, Andrey's Tongue, BDB, Sid and Augie in the same room

Fuck the hadron collider in Switzerland, if that doesn't create a black hole nothing will.

Don't leave out Spudmasher and Percy!

We would have a nice old debate during the game (on our laptops  ), and then have a massive argument when Denilson gets MOM including a 30 yard screamer, before hell breaks loose and Almunia lets in one through his legs!!!

Probably finish it off with a nice cuddle?

Would you believe I actually had an interview for a job at Cern in 1985, I had just finished my apprenticeship, when I spotted the ad at our local job market on the overseas board.
It was for a sheetmetal worker, to work at their plant making 1 off items that would be needed during the huge drilling operation that was being undertaken. For the construction of the Hadron Collider.
I think my poor French let me down most in the interview, though I often wonder where I would be in life now had I got the job.
The salary was fantastic, and the whole purpose bulit village was incredible. 8)
Just think I may have been shacked up with some gorgeous swiss bird

I'm working in Manchester of all places tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be back home in time to see the game.
