REDaction's Cesc Fabregas banner - vote on the wording

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Dumb question, but are all these banners going to be nucleated in the NW corner of the ground?

Not a dumb question at all, although 'nucleated' is now my Word of the Day.

All the banners will be at the North End, spead right across.

Help is needed from all in the North End lower tier, to ensure they are displayed correctly, particularly with the huge 'United Nations of Arsenal' one - Please grab the front if you can, and pull it tight.

i have emailed one of the pitch side photographers to see if he would take some pictures of hte banners around the ground as he'd have the best view point , apart from the players. Hopefully he's cool with it and we'll see some good snaps.

Pics from last night - the camera struggled in the dark so I hope they will be out again on Sat!

The Viva Cesc Fabregas one was smaller than I thought and a bit hard to see as it was red on the red surround, but the overall effect of all the flags and banners looked good.

I only noticed it cs I sadly could only watch it on the box but there were a lot of people in the barca end looking dejected when the barca goals went in.

St George is the patron saint of Catalonia.

Have a closer look at the Barca badge :wink:

Nice pictures there Basil ! Well done !

Saw all the banners last night and thought they were all really good. Did everyone see the Arsenal Poland banner at the South Upper ? Credit to that one as well. Looked class.

Great atmosphere last night. But the really bizarre thing was that the atterndence which looked and felt absolutely packed was announced as under 60,000.

Yet on certain duff Prem games when there are gaping wholes in the seating it's 60,000 and something every time.

Maybe UEFA rules mean that we actually have to tell the truth :roll:
